God's Invitation

Jesus invites us to come to Him.
He wants to offer Himself to us.

Come unto Me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest... Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28-29

In the storm, in the busyness of duties that call us, in the joys, He invites us to COME...

Come...
to find rest. To quiet our hearts.

Come...
to find perspective.

Come...
to be reminded of whose you are... His Beloved.

Come...
Simply to be loved. He loves you.

Come...
to weep and cry about the burdens and the storm that overwhelms your soul.

Come...
for whatever need you may have...

Come...

In His Presence...

Sometimes... maybe a lot of times, life throws many 'curveballs', hard things that send us reeling with questions, insecurities, and pain. I am learning...

It is in the presence of Jesus that we learn of Him. John 15 calls us to abide in Him and it is my desire to be in His presence, to "sit" at the feet of Jesus and learn of Him. To inhale, absorb His Greater words of Truth in the midst of the brokenness and pain as I journey here on this earth. To 'taste' (experience) the goodness of the Lord and find Him to be enough in the midst of all of life.

And with that... to allow Him to create a melody with all the notes. the black ones, the white ones, the low ones and the high ones... and to let Him produce a melody, a song of His praise.

This is a place where I give voice to some of the ponderings, learnings & questions as I 'sit' with Jesus so we can hear the one Voice that matters and I invite you to join me. let's journey, together...

Inhaling HIS Greater Truth...

So many voices impact our minds. Our day is filled with voices that are saying something and God's voice can get lost in the chaos of what we hear. But really, His voice is the only one that matters. I daily need to be reminded of His Truth above the reality or truth of my situation. This is a space where I give voice to His words and how they have impacted me. Sometimes I even need to CHOOSE to believe His Greater Truth. Names for Jesus, verses, quotes have all spoken and here they will be posted to be reminders of - HIS Greater Truth...

God's love never changes... and it certainly isn't hinged on what you do or don't do. He is His own entity and what we do doesn't change who He is. HE LOVES YOU THE SAME!

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee." Is. 26:3
