Utah ➡️ Arizona ➡️ back in Utah ➡️ now back in Arizona ➡️ Nevada and into our last time zone, gaining another hour. We are now 3 hours behind our home town.
Today is a mostly driving sort of day, starting with an early morning start of 7:20 am. Arizona's scenery is much flatter and more desert-like. We were in and out of Utah and Arizona.
Our first stop was at the Horseshoe Bend, which some consider as the beginning of the Grand Canyon. It was beautiful to see. We then continued on to the Grand Canyon where we stayed for two hours walking along the south rim for a bit. Amazing and vast views.
Leaving the Grand Canyon and heading towards Nevada we start to see cactus like plants and palm tree like bushes.
